Lana Crow’s single “In Spirit” is a really enjoyable release that comes across with a lot of personality. It mixes modern pop and retro disco in a way that sounds lively and easy to get into, and it has a strong dancefloor pull, but it also comes across as personal rather than overly polished or distant. That gave me the sense that there was a real idea behind it, not only a catchy hook.

The chorus is big, and the overall energy feels built to be played loud, it’s thoughtful but never boring, which is a tough balance to pull off. I’m pretty sure you will love this ong as much as I did.

“Orwellian Times” is a solid introduction to who Lana Crow is as an artist. If you’re into songs that actually say something, this one’s worth your time.
